Although the blizzard of 2013 hit the cape pretty strong, the church was open and Sunday Mass went on as usual. No heat inside but electricity was on

What a beautiful Church, it's truly stunning, inside and out. It is also the Kennedy Family's favored Church when in Hyannis, and there is a pew with their nameplate in the front rows, where they sit. The services are beautiful, and old fashioned, and the atmosphere is very old school.

We love this little church. Lots of masses. Several masses in other languages. Darling place. Lovely priests.

Too many people vist St. Francis expecting something like a movie set. It's just one of our many local RC churches. Not spectacular, not flashy. It is a quiet place, a comfortable place, a place to sit and think or pray. Yes, the Kennedy worshiped here, were baptized here, were married here and probably were buried from here too. If... More

Better to consider this a tourist attraction.A church it should not be. We were unfortunate to choose this church for my father's funeral. We were told that there would be no eulogy allowed even though OTHER people had been allowed to in the past. The hymns chosen were not played and we were only to learn of this at the funeral.... More

We were not sure that we'd be able to go into the church, but luckily, we were able to do so. We had a large group, but the church was ready for us. The docent delivered a detailed narrative about the history of the church and its relationship with the Kennedy family through the years. I sat in the exact... More

This little church known for Kennedy weddings is not as grand as I expected it to be. Just a small town church without much curb appeal

Cute little church, not far from Main Street. The benches were very narrow and uncomfortable but other than that the church was nice.

This church isn't much to look at from the outside. It's very simple on the inside as well. However, it's a part of history. Crazy to think that such big celebrities like Maria and Arnold got married in such a small, unassuming place. Don't go here if you're expecting a European-esque church, because you will be sorely disappointed! This is... More

As one of the docents for the St. Francis tours, I wanted to clarify a few things I read above. The President and Jackie Bouvier were NOT married at St. Francis, as they were married at the church of the bride in Newport, RI. However, Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzeneggar were married there. Also Joe Kennedy Sr.'s funeral was held... More
