The town itself has lots of gingerbread houses, with brightly painted fronts and grey shingle sides towards the sides and back, as does the Trinity Park area. We agreed that the houses were fun to photograph and wander amidst, but wouldn’t want the hassle of upkeep, especially as the architectural committee has very strict rules. There were no services in progress as we walked through the campground during the daytime. The sunlight illuminated the beautiful windows near the roofline of the building. The setting made me think about what the early days were like for Billy Graham and Oral Roberts.

I liked this area. This Tabernacle is one in the same with the area containing the Gingerbread Houses. The tabernacle is in the middle of them. I believe there is a tour one can take to learn about it, but we just walked around in this peaceful, clean, picturesque park area. Lots of good photo opps within this area.

This was probably the best thing we saw on Martha's Vineyard. We were there for just 5 hours and we took the time to look at the village of gingerbread style houses, the tabernacle and the church - all worth seeing. The gardens and colors made for some fantastic photos.

it is so beautiful and very peaceful. The flower gardens were so well kept and there was no trash on the ground. We sat on a bench in the park and watch the people and their appreciation for such a beautiful place.

Just an interesting place to see. We sat down for a bit to take a break from our walk around the Gingerbread Houses.

Saw the Martha Vineyard Sound perform here. It was a great location and a great concert. The place was full and all had a great time.
