We just did the mile and a half loop but couldn't believe we were really at the ocean -- but for the random deposits of beach sand and period views over dunes, you'd think you were in a forest in northern NH. Beautiful, scenic, serene.

The birdsong is really wonderful on this short walk through the forest. We saw an enormous wild turkey which we photographed while another visitor threw seed its way.
This was the best idea we had on our short Ptown vacation. We rented bikes for 24 hours to explore the town and commute to our accommodations without a car. We rode all over the bike trail - beautiful trail in the sea coast. Some tough hills, but quite doable.
I was wondering, how much does it cost? I am doing a project and this is one of the places that I would like to put on my project. The place looks amazing and I would like to know if there was a fee to pay to take the trail.

Again, gorgeous area. We stumbled on a pond off the parking area -- were able to lock our bikes and have a lovely walk around the pond.

Well maintained trail on walkways made from old beach buggy and hunting trails I used when i was a young hunter .Goes past duck ponds and partial dunes . Great place to commune with nature.
If you're an avid biker or just a beginner, you need to experience the bike trails at the National Seashore. You can access them at the Beech Forest parking area. While at Beech forest, check out the geese that congregate annually at the pond. A treasure of simple, natural beauty.
Challenging trails for a morning bike ride, twisting and turning through the dunes and scrubby pine trees. Awesome scenery and that unmistakable Cape Cod fresh air smell.
