Just this Mother's Day my daughter and I went there on an unplanned trip. However, we always keep a blanket, towels, and beach toys in the car, so we are always prepared. Plenty of people had the same idea to spend a relaxing afternoon digging in the sand, watching the waves (way to cold right now to put in more... More

Went specifically to see if I could find the WW2 Turrets that were unearthed with this last horrendous storm we had. Had heard they were there and YES....they are! Where? Go to the 1st parking lot when entering the reservation, go all the way to the further right side and walk that boardwalk down to the beach...you can't miss them!

My family visited here in the summer, and though they charge a small fee per car, we were able to spend a little while here admiring the beautiful beaches (ocean-side and inlet-side), and we just loved this area. There are plenty of environmentally-friendly no-flush (and surprisingly little odor) facilities, and they built and maintain the boardwalks to take you directly... More

We ended up getting season passes because after we went the first time in May and it was $9 a day and $45 for the season. The beach is clean and the bathrooms are decently kept. Theres even a park for the kids.

Weekends are very busy. Beautiful beach and some amusements and touristy restaurants and shops. Lots of fun for a day at the beach with a little something for those who don't like just sun-bathing.

The park itself is pretty good for camping-close to both the ocean and merrimack river, Fishing for striper bass is Great! Walking the long beach to town is nice,,,, Don't drink anything that looks like it could have alcohol in it! Officers patrol the grounds with vigor. They will stop you to smell your drink, checking for alcohol. They meander... More

This state beach has playgrounds, beach house and just an overall super value. At $9 for the car, how can you beat the value? The beach is groomed and there are lifeguards most hours. Such a good place. Would like to see people really respect the carry in/carry out policy.

A year round pass to park to go to the Atlantic Ocean that is less than a four person dinner at local restaurants. Waves, sand beaches and body surf opportunities are just three terrific factors of this place. Stroll to the jetty or walk the ocean front in any season or just go to the beach in the height of...
