Even though we visited off-season, the staff/volunteers were extremely accommodating and helpful. The view from up in the light was gorgeous, and the small shop held many interesting items. The cranberry soap was especially fragrant! Don't forget to pet the adorable canine light keepers. Our tour up into the light was led by Dan, who was very informative, telling many...

a wonderful New England Light perfect for pictures and picnics. Spectacular water views. Easy access and parkling.

Park near the Golf Pro shop (which also has snacks) and walk down a path past greens to the lighthouse itself. 30 minute tours to the top run $4. Walk to the viewing areas near the edge of the cliffs to see the endless Atlantic and tall...

It was very cold and windy when I went here, but it was still beautiful to look at. I also walked around there.

The keeper told us all about the Fresnel lense and the lights that are used now. If you like lighthouses I would absolutely recomend this lighthouse. Its history is...

You can climb to the top of the lighthouse if you are over 51 inches tall. My grandkids loved it and there is a scenic overlook from which we saw spouting whales offshore. This is an historic spot but also a lot of fun for kids.
