The fort is a remarkable recreation of what life was like in the 18th century. The cast members are terrific and do a great job role playing. There are several live demonstrations including cooking, craft making, cannon firings, and musket shooting. It's very educational and quite interesting for all ages.

My family had fun there on our last visit to the straits. This was a great attraction for the kids with the weaponry demonstration. The staff was very nice and welcoming. It was a bit pricey to get in(we are a family of six) but it was worth it to creatively educate my babies!

This is a beautiful historic family activity. The reinacters are wonderful and very friendly. They allow the children to participate in their activities. I remember touring this fort when I was a child and enjoy taking my daughter there to have the same experiences. It is still an active dig site so there is always something new!

Bathrooms could be a little easier to find without having to walk so far to use one, but they were reasonably clean.
