I've been skiing here since I was a kid. Many improvements on the slopes have occurred and it would be nice to see a little more variety in the food choices in the caf. Also- all slopes should be open when we pay for an all area ticket!

All the people were extremely friendly, from the rental shop to the lift operators. The ski shop was most helpful (I bought a helmet there). Monday evening was "Service Industries Night." From 4 until close it was $17 for a lift ticket, including free rentals. Can't beat that.

Not the cheapest ski experience around. The lodge was pretty run down, food so so, and hill seemed more focused on event groups than individual skier. If wasn't visiting an NMU, then wouldn't have made a long trip to ski here.

Tried to use a coupon for lift tickets - Buy one, get one free. Staff said it was only good for 11am start and we needed a ticket for earlier because of the ski race. Nowhere on the coupon did it state that! The coupon is now useless to us since none of the races start later than 11am. Ski... More

The staff were great in dealing with our group from Wisconsin. Jessie in the office is a gem! Always had everything under control. Although only 1/2 the hill was open, we still had a great time. Everyone loved the soup/sandwiches at the Border Hut on the hill!

i had a season pass here all 4 years i went to NMU. They probably do the best terrain parks in the midwest & do a good job of switching it up a number of times during the year. There's nightskiing on the whole right side of the hill. There's a few runs for beginners & a few diamonds/backcountry runs... More

Didn't have time to hike to the top but that was ok because there is a road that takes you all the way up. It is a one-way road that is accessible from Cliff Power Road, near the south-east corner of Marquette city limit. Once you turn onto Cliff Power Road, follow the dirt road to the left. (If you...
