Hey when in Rome right? Yes we paid a dollar to climb to the top and yes the view for a buck was well worth it. Bring the kids!

Best value for your money. Cheapest tourist trap in the area. They give you a free sticker when you climb the rock. Been in business for over 80 years. Friendly employees with lots of information About the area and Castle Rock.

If you are going to be anywhere in this area, this is a must do! It is only $1 to climb to the top! The views were amazing. We probably only spent 30-40 minutes here, but it was a memorable stop. Easy to get to once you pass over the bridge. Parts of the stairs are getting a little worn.... More

Lots of climbing! Be prepared to have tired legs by the time you are done. The steps and trail are getting a little worn. Care should be taken in watching your step. If looking for a fun way to work off all the fudge that has been eaten... this is it!!!

bring your camera,excellent view,kids love it! take your time or rush through it no matter what you prefer this is definately the must see of st ignace

nice view from the top but requires some effort. Inexpensive. Easy to get to from the Mackinac bridge or from Sault ste Marie.

The view from Castle Rock is spectacular, and the walk up is great exercise. This has to be one of the best tourist deals in the UP!!

We loved the climb up to the top and the view is awesome! The gift shop has everyone thing you could want and the owner's are wonderfully funny and full of area information.
