is fairly clean, part is city Park. water & beach very clean, the view goes on forever of lake. Always cool too cold to swim but who cares

this is a great flat hike out beyond the airstrip on Park Point. Lightly used. really interesting. sandy!

Be careful about the poison ivy, in season. Very nice, gentle trail.

Duluth has a wonderful lakefront on Lake Superior. There is a great walking path, about 2 miles long, with plenty of sites along one side, and the expanse of Lake Superior along the other.
