This a very Beautiful Lake and Area. A lot of nice place to stop and have picnics or to just enjoy the beauty.

It really reminded me of Indiana Lake a lot at first. But, there are not that many things to do here. We swam out there and we sailed and skied as well. We saw 50-75 ice sailing craft in use on Sunday morning - the last Sunday in January. They were by Lake City.

Took a drive around the lake in January and even then it was beautiful. Would like to go back in summer or fall.

beautiful outlook and restaurant over the lake. Nice paddlewheel boat ride - although we couldn't take it - we saw many who did and they loved it. Lake Pepin also had a nice inn right at the restaurant. Was a very relaxing atmosphere.

Beautiful part of the River, widest part of Mississippi. Rent a sailboat or take a boat ride down the river on a paddleboat. Dinner cruises. Shop for antiques, have dinner on the river. So pretty. In the fall, there are apple orchards. Close to Treasure Island Cascino, north of Red wing.
