The Como Lakeside Pavllion was the site of many happy events when my wife and I were going together in college. The Sunday night Hymn Sings were a weekly highlight. We recently have attended concerts and a hymn sing now as senior citizens.

They offer free musical programs here in the summer. Food is available at modest cost. Also LOTS of fun to walk around Lake Como and then stop in for something cold to drink.
I have attended weddings, musicals and picnics at the Lakeside Pavillion. It is a favorite stop when visiting Como Zoo and Park.
Whether you want to get some exercise and nature walking around the lake of listening to outdoor concerts or getting a nosh and listening to music inside at the Black Bear Crossing, a lovely venue for all and very family friendly.
Not many vegetarian choices...it was OK but not great. They served some really hot tortilla chips that were too hot to eat. They should have a choice of hot or regular chips.
What a wonderful place to hang out. A nice place to take the kids to walk around the lake and see wildlife.
The pavilion houses Black Bear Crossing coffee shop. The staff is always friendly and the coffee is hot. The shop offers decent, simple food and baked goods. The Sunday breakfast is good and decently priced. Black Bear is a great place to grab a cup of coffee and read the newspaper or a good book, although its very busy in...

What a wonderful inner city place to walk, run, bike, ride on the amusement rides, see the animals and visit the conservatory all in one spot.Very inexpensive, good for all ages.
Como park is a great place. Lots to do and see. A nice lake to walk around. Can be a tought place to park. The zoo and greenhouse are very very nice.
The pavillion is a great place to visit in the summer. It's right on the lake, and has wonderful walking paths surrounding it. The pavillion has a wide variety of treats. Have an ice cream cone from the restaurant section, and sit out on the pavillion, admiring the view. Their concerts are always great.
