Attended the Coast Con convention this past weekend. Parking was easy to find and we didn't have to pay (I think you have to for some events) Was a little disappointed in the convention itself (much smaller than I would have hoped for the price!) But the Convention Center itself was nice.

I was wanting to visit the dog show with my kids, but never found an area to purchase or even someone working to make a request for directions. It is a beautiful building with lots of activities, but I still haven't gotten to enjoy one,

I have attended concerts, business shows, graduations and conventions here. Christmas City is my favorite event here every year!

Duh......What did you expect? The facility housed the activity and had the usual bells and whistles. Parking was not a problem and access was a snap.

The coliseum and convention center is very nice. We didn't have time to see all there was to see, but enjoyed the swap meet they held there.

Yes, a hockey game in Mississippi! I was surprised to find out how many minor league hockey teams are in the south, including more than 2 in the gulf coast area. I've been to a few concerts there now. The venue is like any other. I do like how close it is to the casinos.
