nice home but the real story is her vibrant, rich life. go find your own take on it. there's a lot of construction going on in the area so make sure you have a good map to get there. docents are very knowledgeable.

I did not know anything about Eudora Welty until I toured her home and garden. Pulitzer prize winning author. The docent was well informed. The gardens are wonderful but probably best viewed in early April when they would have been full display of color.

This house museum does what all such places should do: it provides a sharp insight into its resident. Miss Welty was a Jackson treasure and so is her former home. Highly recommended.

A must visit for any Welty or literary fans! Very knowledgeable, local tour guide. The house is full of family belongings, books, and art. It looks like Eudora just stepped away for a walk!
