The park contains some of the most popular hiking trails in the state and also offers solitude while hiking in the Gans Creek Wild Area. Visitors can also see a large cave system with its rock bridge, sinkholes, a spring and underground stream at the Devil's Icebox. You can explore Connor's Cave in the light of the opening for a taste of the underground world. « less

Hiked on the Deer Run Trail. 3.25 miles along the creeks and up on the ridge. Spring so no leaves on the trees but vegetation starting to green up. Turtles sunning themselves on logs in the creek. A deer wandering and watching us. Woodpeckers everywhere! Chose the clockwise direction. This trail also allows biking. Those out there were going counterclockwise... More

I love hiking here. Lots of wonderful sites. Be sure to try some of the lesser used hiking trails. Of course the favorite is the Devil's Icebox. It is great.

There are great trails here and it's lots of fun. I only wish the trails were marked better. Glad I have a GPS.

My fiance and I actually did our engagement pictures at this park. There were lots of scenic areas such as the little cave and wooden bridges. There are several options to hike on and we stuck to the main one by the picnic area, so I cannot say too much about the other paths. The one we took was a... More

Many miles of hiking trails, particularly nice in the spring. And the "Devil's Icebox" takes you way down to where you feel the cool of the air from an underground river. The whole area is filled with sinkholes from the "Karst Topography," and if you get the proper training & certification, you can have a canoe trip (much of it... More

Great, wooden trails through beautiful woods. The wooden trail is a little short (only about .5 miles) but there are a lot of gravel trails that shoot off, too. The cave is also really neat and they offer guided tours through them that are awesome.

This is a really quiet, relaxing place to hike. The trails are organized well and are easy to get around, as the heavily-traveled ones have been made into stairs. The creek is good for kids, shallow with some fish and lots of places to play. The rock bridge itself is pretty cool to walk under. The icebox is impressive in... More

Seemed well organized and the few trails were nice. There was a rowdy bunch of kids at the part we were at that which kind of ruined it. There were a lot more to go and see but didn't make it. I will probably try it again some time.
