Wear a jacket as it is cold! I ahve been countless times and am still in awe of the cave, its formation, and famous visitirs. Autograph alley is amazing- Love looking at the dates.

I really enjoyed the informative tour through the Mark Twain Cave in Hannibal. Hannibal is located about 2 hours north of St. Louis. Samuel Clemens (a.k.a. Mark Twain) played in this cave as a boy with other local children, and his experiences here inspired many scenes in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer." The tour blends the history of the cave,... More

The cave tour was excellent. The guides provided a nice mix of Hannibal history with geology for a well rounded experience. The only drawback was the almost comical signs everywhere, "stay off the grass" - do this don't do that - not very welcoming first impression.

We toured the Mark Twain Cave in mid February and we all enjoyed it. Even my wife, who does not like caves, thought this was good. Of course my kids loved it, they wished they had brought their own flashlights on the tour so they could shine them down passages that were not on the tour route. Anyway, this cave... More

We toured the Mark Twain Cave as a family outing and really enjoyed it. There is a lot to see and learn and our tour guide was quite young, but very knowledgeable. I wish the tour was a bit longer, though.

The tour guide was informative and the cave interesting. The grandchildren loved the stories and coolness on a hot summer day.

I lived in Hannibal from '87-'00 and this was the place for school field trips. The kids learn many things about the Cave and the time Jesse James used it as a hide out. A lot of history is in there. If you are in to Mark Twain, this is the place for you.

The Mark Twain Cave is cool, both temperature and visually. The stories that go with the tour kept you very interested as your walking around. Well worth the intrance fee.

Our tour guide was very informative. I was happy to see there was an indoor entrance to the cave seeing as it was pouring rain. The cave was quite fun. Friendly staff too! Also a nice gift shop. Easy to find right outside of town.

It's a nice and unusual tour. Lots of stories on the tour. Tour guides are usually very good. Great family place.
