The zoo does not charge an admission fee to visitors, which is a unique aspect of the zoo when compared to zoos in other big cities. There is a decent mix of mammals, birds and reptiles, although there seems to be some construction or the other always going on around the zoo, which spoils the natural beauty somewhat.
