Too many delicious treats to choose from! Crowded, fun, STL gathering place. Enjoyed by young and old all year. Love this place. Best custard in the USA!♥
Ted Drew's is a must if you come to St. Louis city on old Route 66. I have been to many frozen custard joints but none compared to Mr. Drew's frozen custard. There are no words to describe the smooth creamy taste of this custard and no matter how many things they put on the frozen custard is the best... More
What a treat. Not sure why they only have one of these, but you must try it. There are many, many different combinations you can get. Since this was our first time we got something rather simple, the Lemon Custard with Graham Crackers chunks. Out of the world delicious. Always long lines but they serve up very quickly. A must... The small original Ted Drews takes you back to a different era and reminds us of how great the simple things in life are. We had to try the concrete (a super thick malt) in many flavors and all were great. My buddy had his kids and bought 3 flavors for them to try and they are still talking about... More
It's just great custard at a decent price. It's always busy but they don't make you wait long. A great St. Louis tradition
So its a blazing hot day in St Louis and you are about to overheat. What do you do? Here is what I would do. Drive over to Ted Drew's and get some of the tastiest and coolest frozen custard to ever tickle your taste buds. I am a Route 66 nut and a touring musician. You can not go... More
We travel to Saint Louis frequently but never had made it to visit Ted Drew's and now we are wondering why it took us so long! What a fabulous tasty treat! We both got "Concretes" which are similar to Dairy Queen Blizzards where they mix in toppings and flavors into their famous custard, but 100 times better than Dairy Queen!... More
Stopped here for a break and because so many travelers had mentioned and I am glad we did! Really reasonable prices and great staff and parking. There is also a range of souvenirs of Route 66, I came home with a Route 66 St Louis metal road sign and it didn't cost a fortune. Great photo opportunities beside Route 66... More
a friend Recommended and it was a treat for sure. The 60 cent cone was awesome. That was just too start. We then shared a sundae and a concrete. SOOOO good!!!!! Price is good. Atmosphere is not the best. At least there area couple of benches. Still, it's worth it.
We finally decided to stand in line to sample the famous Ted Drew's Frozen Custard, a St. Louis favorite. The lines were VERY long but moved quickly. It was so worth the wait! The frozen custard was so smooth and creamy! Don't call this stuff ordinary ice cream! It's in a class by itself! YUM!
