I love that they have something to take family/kids to and you can go waste a day.....but I'm not sure this should really be classified as a zoo. great set up for trails.walking and enjoying a beautiful montana day.

This zoo has a great staff. The people are super friendly, however there was nothing impressive to see except a peacock roaming around . All the animals were asleep or not available to see the ones we did see are ones that we in colorado see all the time it was disappointing but it was a cheap admission so not...

This is a cute Zoo with nature trails that run through it. First nice day in Montana, 70 degrees, alot of families enjoying the zoo and volunteers working on spring cleaning.
Zoo Montana is doing nothing but good things these days and making progress. Under new management it is making strides every day. Admission price is extremely low and membership is also very affordable. It is the best place in town to take small children to let them run around outside and experience the animals. The playground area is very fun...

Although this is considered a small zoo, it is on 70 acres and the grounds are just beautiful. This zoo was opened in 1995 and is Montana's only zoo and botanical park. Right now they are working on finishing up their NEW Living Wall habitats and their discovery center was so much fun with lots to see. I loved the...

This is a very small zoo. It's a nice place to take younger children. They will enjoy the few animals the zoo has. Plus, since it's not too big you can get through it quickly, so the kids won't get bored.
Check the weather before you come to make sure you and your family will be comfortable all day. The park is a place to linger and become soulfully connected with our animal cousins.
Generally I don't approve of zoos. I think it's rather horrid to cage wild animals. Zoo Montana though is pretty interesting. I loved the Bengal tigers and the river otters. The grounds are lovely. The zoo has had a rough time with finances and lost its accreditation. I've given money to it because it's an attraction for the city of...

Lots of space to run and explore. Has a good playground area and picnic tables for the end of your zoo visit.
Zoo Montana was the fourth major zoo I've visited in the last six months. While there are some highlights at the zoo (mostly having to do with landscaping), it felt very lacking in a lot of stuff. I hate to be hard on the zoo, because I feel like they are trying, but the state should really pitch in and...
