Enjoyed the movie and all the exhibits. Lewis and Clark faced so many challenges that they were able to overcome. Would like to follow the Missouri River from St. Louis to Great Falls someday to see what they saw.

We stop here almost every year when heading to or from Glacier National Park. It is a fabulous, interactive museum with hands-on activities such as pulling a boat up the river and seeing how a "5 way translation" worked. Not only is it great for kids, but very enjoyable and educational for adults, too.

They had a "Junior Adventurer" program which set the kids on a real study of the exhibits, which sparked their interest in the history both in the museum and as we drove through the state. The exhibits were well put together and informative. The staff are clearly passionate about the subject, and were a wonderful resource for information during our... More

My husband and I checked out this well thought out interpretive center this past February while in Great Falls. The biggest mistake we made was not allowing enough time! This center is worth several hours of your time. More, if you stop and talk to the several well-informed docents who work there. Living in the Pacific NW, I've learned a... More

Great time for the kids and great info on history. Kids ages 5 to 13 were with us and really enjoyed their time.

We had read the book, 'Undaunted Courage", by Stephen Ambrose (highly recommend) and visited the center to "see" the story. Very well laid out with the path they took. Beautiful setting on the river. Friendly staff and knowledgeable docent to help throughout the center.

The Lewis and Clark NHT Interpretive Center tells the story of the expedition and is located along the very river that the expedition traveled on. The center is done well and tells the story with some good exhibits but there is a lot of text in the exhibits and you cannot possibly read all of it. Some of the exhibits... More

Went to the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center with 2 kids, first visit. Beautiful facility ran by the US Forestry Service. Great Volunteers that are well versed in the history of the local area, and the Lewis & Clark Corps of Discovery. Kids completed the junior explorer program, very educational and interactive for them! They were given a certificate and... More

I went to the interpretive center when family came to visit and was very pleasantly suprised by the center. It is well thought out, flows throught Lewis and Clarks journey. The displays appeal to both adults and children and we walked away with a much better understanding of the hardships and importance of thier journey. We learned alot of new... More

Crams a great deal of information into a well designed museum. Fits nicely into the chain of Lewis and Clark sites that stretch along their route. More Americans should take the time to visit these facilities and appreciate history.
