Somehow this cathedral escaped a 1970s "update" and remains Montana's most magnificent church building. The only blemish is the "hot tub" holy water font which must have been installed in the 80s or 90s, but it can be replaced. The windows are rich and gorgeous. The organ is a wonderful instrument. Visit this church.

The building is really impressive and grand. I wish I was able to go inside the cathedral and I wish they would turn on the lights inside at night to really be able to appreciate the stained glass. It's also on a hill so difficult to photograph.

Truly breathtaking interior, you have to visit the Cathedral and the State Capitol to get an appreciation of the grandeur that old Helena once was

As avid church visitors, we like to pop into interesting place of worship on our travels. St. Helena is worth the time. The stained glass is particularly impressive and an atmosphere of spiritual calm is immediately apparent.

Something out of a Story. The Stained Glass windows, the Gothic style, it was beautiful. Long Catholic wedding, but lots to look at.

A lovely place to visit for a quiet break to contemplate and take in the beauty. We sat and sketched and enjoyed to quiet reverance

A must-see when you visit Helena. If you don't feel spriritual when you came, you will when you leave.

Regardless of your religion, or lack of, you will enjoy the facility. It reminds me of the wonderful cathedrals in Europe.

No matter your religious affiliation or none, this is a spectacular sight. Seen from miles around, we wondered how it ended up being built, etc. Were fortunate to attend Sunday Mass. A refreshing change from the usual touristy types of things to do. Worth the time.
