The first thing I thought of when I arrived and started playing was "How did anyone ever think of building a golf course in this location?" However, I sure am glad that someone did, as the course is more visually stunning than any other course I have ever played. The changes in elevation and the layouts for each hole made... More

This course is one to play at least once in your life, you will not have played on anything like this before, the elevation changes are epic and driving the buggies on some the paths is an adventure on its own. It is a slow pace of play but on such a beautiful location, with so many photo opportunities, not... More

Playing Wolf Creek is truly an experience that every golfer should experience at least once in their life. However be prepared for one of the slowest rounds you will ever experience! I have played the course twice (one year apart) and both rounds were almost 6 hours in length. The course books tee times in 10 minute increments and has... More

Had high expectations for this course as the pictures made it look amazing. The course is very picturesque for sure. Course design isn't bad but there are more than a few holes which are poorly designed. Way too many blind shots for no real reason. The 3rd hole is terrible. 170 yd 30 foot uphill to a green that slopes... More

My buddies and I have played Wolf Creek many times. It i not your normal golf course, with some severe elevation changes that challenge normal distance reading. But is it so unique that it and visually exciting that we always look forward to the round. May not be the place I would want to play every day but for the... More

This course is carved out of the mountains and has plenty of elevation changes. Very well kept considering that it is in the desert. Bring your a- game and plenty of balls. Our round had 40 mph gusts blowing through and made the round near impossible. Mesquite itslf is low key but still has 3 casinos in town to pass... More

I've played hundreds of golf courses over the last several decades. Wolf Creek is one of many courses in the Mesquite / St. George area, and is far more expensive than virtually all. It may be marginally better than most others, but that's it. I played recently and was dismayed at the inconsistancy of the bunkers (I know, stay out... More

I know this is number one on most people's list when golfing in Mesquite, but after playing it I say save your money and find another destination besides Mesquite. I played two courses in Mesquite, Wolf Creek and Conestoga, and don't recommend either one. I also played Coyote Springs which is about an hour away. That is a wonderful course... More

Well the raves about Wolf Creek are certainly worthy, the course is a "masterpiece" in design. If there is a nicer course, I have not played it, and I have played many resort style courses. We even came back for more for an extra try this baby. (actually my score was better the first day I think.) Upon stepping on... More
