It is a very nice ski area and the prices are reasonable. It would be a great place for kids as well. It was not crowded and there was plenty of room inside as well as close parking and short walks.

There were no lines. It was very close. Our car was within one hundred feet of the lift and the lodge. Mid week skiing is reasonable.

A great family ski slope and a place to get away from crowds (and, frankly, New Yorkers). The Dartmouth Skiway is the perfect start for Beginners, Intermediate or Advanced Skiers. The trails are not too long, but just ideal for steadily increasing your own challenge. It has racing, freestyle, mogles and beginner trails. If you are an advanced expert skier/snowboarder and look for more challanges I would recommend higher mountains though.
