Took a ride on the train and it was fun. It may have been a little hokey, but I really enjoyed that little trip. Kids sure got a bang out of it.

We picked a nice clear day for our ride up Mt. Washington on the Cog. We has a blast. The engine is now "green" so don't expect steam, but that's OK. We're glad that this reviewer enjoyed her visit to our friends at the Mt. Washington Cog Railway, but we're the Conway Scenic Railroad, a totally different railroading experience. Nice review, though!

We did the Valley train tour. We rode on the Gertrude Emma. We enjoyed learning about the area, but the announcer was hard to hear. we are planning to do a longer trip in the fall. This was on the short side.

We took our kids (ages 2 and 4) on the 55-minute "C" train.
Anything longer would have been rough. So as not to disturb others in first class -- though, heck, we really wanted to be up there! -- we rode coach, but so did a lot of other families, making it quite the noisy car!

Friendly people but the tour will ONLY show you trees. It's expensive for what it shows you. It would probabloy be worth taking the tour during the leaf peeping season.
