My wife and I went to Cape May Stage a few nights ago and it was definitely worth a return trip. I can't say whether or not our experience would have been any different on a busy night where I'm sure the small building would have been packed, but for the night we went it was nice to have some... I love Cape May Stage, The plays are all so well done and we enjoyed them so much we bought a subscription. I love the Playbill with all the local advertisers too. We used Sitters at the Shore for this couples night out. The kids had a great time with their sitter. They bring along a goodie bag of fun... More

We took advantage of the offer of a dinner and a show discount . We had dinner at Tishi's 2 blocks away. Then strolled over to the show "How to make a rope swing". The show was well done, we were up stairs and had a great view and could hear very well. A quite a lovely experience. The performers... More

Wonderful little theatre. This was an original production and though it needed some editing the actors did a good job.

I have gone to 2 productions at this small theatre in a renovated church. The seats are tiered-good for short people! Only 100 or so seats. Intimate setting. Both productions were amazing-one was a one man show about George Burns, another a newer off broadway drama. When combined with the dinner option-what a steal. Dinner at a zagat rated restaurant... Generally fine acting in an approachable setting. Their repertoire is varied and of course some productions are more enjoyable than others. Recommended.

It is amazing to see two actors playing 6 different characters in a live show. The stadium seating is great so there is no bad seat. Although, if you are seated toward the aisle, there is only one way in and one way out to your seat.

Considering this was a small cast of Equity actors, I found the quality of the acting poor. It reminded me of "end of the pier" stuff at English holiday resorts where most actors are not Equity. But my better half did enjoy it, but she's Irish!

Cast was great. Performance terrific. Even a huge thunder storm following the show which caused a power outaged turned into a fun experience talking to the cast and crew. Can't wait to go back next summer.
