A must see while in Cape May and surrounding area beaches. A wonderful, educational experience for the entire family. The children are able to sit in WWII aircraft and walk around freely without being "hawked" by personnel staff watching their every move. There is ample space to roam around and taking your time is encouraged. I plan on bringing my... More

I'm really into WWII history, though not particularly aviation, but the planes and historical artifacts in this place were really interesting. It wasn't too crowded, and it was a great place to go to for a change of (beach) pace.

My husband and I enjoyed touring this museum. They have a lot of great stuff to look at (planes, helicopters) but not every item is labeled and it would have been nice to know a little back story on these pieces. We got a newspaper there which we later realized had this kind of background information in it and wished... More

There is so much history and beautiful aircraft to see here you will love it. The great part of it is most of the planes are see touch feel with even a couple that you can hop into. I have pictures of my son sitting in the apache helicopter. We have been to Cape May 3 times and each time... More

Visited NAS... a great treasure. We were able to see many different types of planes upclose and personal. We got to walk around the hangar at our leisure. The Director was there and introduced himself to us. We, in turn, showed him a manufactured stud that is in a Pratt & Whitney jet engine..Very cool. While we were there, the Director... More

Never would I have thought to have so much fun walking around and learning about aircraft. As someone who is dating someone in the Aircforce it was a great experience for me to able to get a first look at the Aircrafts that they work on and really get to know about the history of each one. There were tons... More

I visit the museum after spending some time at the cape may zoo. As a history buff and aviation admirer it was great to see such a range off aircraft. Recently the museum has restored a f16 that you can get very close too. The museum also had many other aircraft such as older blue Angels Vietnam era helicopters and... More

The is a wonderful place for old and young to experience early and later air travel. They even have various airplane toys. It's also inexpensive.

I was really impressed by the aircraft you can get up close and personal with. Everything from biplanes to supersonic fighters. Also,a very interesting history of the pilot training that went on at the airfield. Quite a hidden treasure.
