it is a long straight beach and surely no development seen that makes this very good place to relax and enjoy its natural beauty. dont expect the same for the next few years as the sign of incoming development is so imminent. dont also expect more than a quite fine sandy beach with a nice view of coconut trees

Some resoirts do not clean up there section of the beach and it can be quite bad/ almost dangerous to walk on it .. The tide sometimes brings in alot of rubbish .. I have seen days wherehtis beach is crystal clear and days when you would be swimming in a grabge pile

We spent over a week on Phu Quoc, west side beach and were quite relieved to leave the island. We also made some snorkeling trips to south and north islands and just everywhere the same: garbage. The Vietnamese people haven't learned yet to dispose any thing in the right way, they just bung every thing around, most of the time... More

The water temperature is refreshing, the sand silky. A nice choice of restaurants selling seafood cooked on BBQs. La Veranda, from what I could see on my walk is the better looking place to stay.

Water is warm and pretty clean, even outside of the resort areas. Soft sand and you can easily get drinks, food or a massage. Reminds me a little of the old Key West. Nice place to relax, swim and get some sun. There are a few vendors selling fruit and massages, but they don't hassle you.

There were a variety of places to hang out along this long beach. Plenty of bars and restaurants as well, but most spots didn't feel crowded, it was easy enough to find your own little spot. You could take a nice little walk or sweaty jog in either direction, have a paddle at night and cool down after a hot... More

Quite fine beach with a lot of restaurants and hotels. If you stay on one you will have your private slice.

We stayed in Famiana Village so its just right out of our hotel. It's long but not a lot of sand. Sand is rough too. OK for a hotel beach. I will suggest you to go to Sao Beach if you looking for powder liked sand. (Stay out of Famiana Spa Resort Poolside restaurant at all cost. Food is horrible... More
