Awesome experience every time. Clean and private, interesting and pretty grounds, staff is always courteous, professional and helpful. And this water is great for your skin, muscles and spirits!

I spent 50 minutes in the Tierra private pool at Riverbend Hot Springs in mid-afternoon in 90-degree weather and it was wonderful! If you're comfortable with public soaking, this is a nice place. Maybe the only one in the area. You can soak in pools overlooking the Rio Grande and have friendly conversations with others. They only have room for a certain number of people, and the busy times are when it cools at night, of course.

If you haven't been there for a while you will notice a lot of improvements all over the property. If you want a private tub, make a reservation before you go. I highly recommend the private pools, however, I arranged for a deal through Groupon, brought in the necessary information and had to argue to get the man at the desk to use the correct number to access the arrangement. Had a wonderful soak last night in the private tub Cielo. The water temperature was just perfect and a spectacular view of the full moon over Turtleback Mountain. The light of the moon reflected on the water in the river and made for a very relaxing and romantic evening...

Sweet to soak on the Rio Grande river - especially at night under the stars! Friendly people in the public pools, although some a bit freaky.
