A must see in downtown Queretaro. Downtown is small enough to see it all in less than 2 hours. Plaza de Armas is a nice starting point for taking a nice walk around town.

There are two excellent restaurants at one end, and several cafes along the arcades. There is often a concert and the square is filled with lively activity.

Very nice view, it´s to close to many good restaurants and attractions like "The house of Josefa Ortíz de Dominguez" but the best is the safety and quiet of the place.

This plaza has many restaurants, shops and outdoor craft vendors. Locals come here to socialize and hang out. It's a very lively atmosphere. Some restaurants have small bands playing. There seem to be festivals of some sort each weekend. The place gets very crowded. Parking can be difficult, but walk the few blocks and enjoy the area. No doubt you'll... More

La Plaza de Armas is Queretaro in a nutshell. Great atmosphere and such, but the people are really nice too. We met some kids there that I still keep in touch with on Facebook. Free wifi here too.

This place is stuffed with history, great restaurants and bars. Try to visit during a weekend and enjoy the shopping of inexpensive souveniers.

Excellent square, lots of places to seat and nice coffee shops. You can stroll from there to the mirador for the acqueduct and on the way back stop for a coffee.

It seems everyone who visits old Queretaro will eventually pass by here or just hang around and people watch. There are many restaurants, ice cream parlors, and plenty of places to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Don't miss this place at nights, on Tuesday's you have good documentaries been projected just for free in the square. And also good coffee shops and restaurantes with live music and good service, not expensive.
