Four of us ventured to Ithaca Beer Company's flagship brewery south of the Ithaca city center. Take a tour of the brewery, try a flight of 4 of their beers or just sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of your choice. Excellent beers and tasty burgers.

We only get to Ithaca once or twice a year. My what wonderful changes to the Ithaca Beer Co. We always stocked up on the beer but the new restaurant and menu was a great surprise. A little hard to find-call for directions, don't trust your GPS. Go when the weather is nice so you can sit outside. Try the beer sampler....you can choose your own. They now have opened their new brewery and bistro. Samples are no longer free but who cares! Still fun to go and try flights of beer samples or if you prefer by the pint. We stopped by Ithaca Beer Co.'s new taproom for a quick flight. Delicious! The beer is fresh and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The new taproom is very nice, with both indoor and outdoor seating. We look forward to returning when they open a kitchen later this year.
