This is a great use of on an old railway bridge. Accessible to all and well looked after. The views are amazing. A great way to spend half a day.

The walkway over the hudson is a wonderful way to get some exercise and see the Hudson River. Make sure to take an umbrella if it looks like rain

This is a must if you like industrial heritage, with a great walk / cycle / run. Parking lot on the Poughkeepsie side of the river not so easy to find, never the less a great hour or 2 out and can be combined with a couple of nice spots to stop at on the waterfront at Poughkeepsie.

Very enjoyable walking over the Hudson River on the Walkway over the Hudson, while reading its history on the various signs along the route, would recommend.

very cool attraction. spend a sunny day here strolling, jogging or biking across the bridge. AWESOME views of the mid Hudson. Bike rentals available.

The wide walkway was filled with baby carriages, dog walkers and bike riders as well as the fitness walkers. It's nice to say you did it but to make it a good time, plan to go out to eat in a restaurant with wate views.

Definitely walk the Walkway, it is a thrill to see the beauty of the Hudson River laid out around you.
