Spent the afternoon with my grandson, many great things to see, not only did my grandson love it, but I did as well. Haven't been then since I took my kids, and it is still great, with alot of new things mixed with the old.

The Rochester Museum & Science Center is a terrific museum, and well worth time spent visiting its many exhibits. Being particularly interested in Native American art and culture I found the presentation of related items to be informative, and very well presented. The range of items is impressive, with many cultures and tribes represented. Other parts of the museum have... More

I have been coming to this museum since I was a youngster. Things have changed from when I was quite young. It used to be don't touch the displays. I have been back to the museum with the grandchildren and everything has changed. Science shows for ages 4 through adult, digging for dinosaur bones, as well as chnages in their... More

many of the displays haven't changed in decades, but are still very neat and relevant. there are classes, and presentations all the time, reasonable priced, and in back there is the planetarium, which host some of the coolest displays and traveling artifacts and displays, and the sky shows and natur films are astounding.

We took our kids to see the T-Rex dinosaur skeleton exhibit. Although there are a lot of interesting displays, many were broken, or had limited functionality. I applaud the concept of a lot of hands-on exhibits that kids would be interested in, but if the exhibits don't work, it's disappointing. For the price of admission, the kids would have had... More

If you have small children they will enjoy the activities and exhibits. You have to go once to see what it's about. Look for a bogo coupon otherwise the adult ticket price is not worth it.

My husband is a history buff so I was looking for fun things to do between our plans. We stopped into the museum for a few hours. It was a busy Sunday and there were lots of people but never did we feel crowded. The attractions, well some are very geared to children (understandably) there was just as much for... More

Buy a membership, since it's a great value for going again and again. This also gets you into the planetarium, which s somethign rare in a city the sixe of Rochester - a real treasure.
