Stopped by to pick up a Christmas gift for a college-bound niece who loves dance and had a hard time finding something to buy -- although I always try to support the arts and give gifts from local museums. Finally dug up a Small sized tank top with logo on it but took a while. My advice to the buyer... More

The National Museum of Dance is very converniently located in downtown Saratoga Spriongs. The grounds are beautiul and there is very adequate parking. An everchanging exhibit of portraits and dance memorabilia is very interesting. Our son and daughter-in-law rented a lovely room in the museum for a child's birthday party. It was a great setting and very family friendly.

We went here for a wedding. it had a nice center column area which was a nice place for a wedding reception to be held. The tables had plenty of space around them, the bar was in a good location, and the dance floor was just big enough. they could even open the side doors when the room started beginning... More

We enjoyed our visit to this museum, formerly a spa many years ago, immensely. Was completely surprised that this museum had so much to offer as Froemmers Guide said that 30 minutes was all one could spend there. This was the best deal around for $6.50 ($5.00 for senior and students) as there were so many exhibits to see and... More

Interesting Museum of many types of dance afficionados who were decorated for their achievements. Ranging from old time dancers to modern dancers.

The displays of dress and photos are interesting and well done. It's a small museum and frankly not much of a museum in the real sense. It's more often used as a beautiful venue for other functions.

In our travels we had passed the National Museum of Dance a couple of times, and I wanted to stop, but there was no opportunity. I have paid little attention to dance, an art form that is "too beautiful" for me, as the French would say. Nevertheless, I was aware that, unlike music, for example, dance has no standard form... Dragged here by my wife, I was pleasantly surprised at how interesting this little museum proved to be. Dedicated to all forms of dance, there were exhibits honoring Ben Vereen and Ann Margaret, the two most recent inductees into the Hall of Fame. That Hall had tributes to its varied members, from Fred Astaire to Edward Villela. Several videos were... More

This museum is located in spa state park so you can visit it at the same time as the roosevelt baths and the auto museum or just to take a walk thru the park...
