How can you go wrong with a modern art museum? Bold and challenging art hangs and stands in this beautiful little museum. A great and cheap (free) side trip when you are visting Saratoga Springs!

This museum is on the Skidmore College campus (in a park-like setting, the campus itself has charming walking paths). The museum showcases art of their very talented students and teachers. But the big deal is the important shows of working artists that often move from here to Manhattan.

Tang is not your usual museum with a collection of old stuff. This is a museum that does exhibitions of modern, unusual art collections in different media. Most are new and unique, and truly diversified. It is free to the public and located in the Skidmore College campus.

Workers are glad to tell you about exhibits. Remarkable design of building. Take a long walk up Broadway from downtown to this museum in Strathmore College to stroll by the stately Victorian mansions of years gone by.
