While visiting the area, we booked a private charter with Up the Creek Tours in Beaufort, NC. Captain Barry and his wife/first mate Lucy were wonderful! Their boat is beautifully maintained and they were knowledgeable about the area. My 8 year old daughter had a great time on the boat seeing the Shackleford Ponies, munching on snacks and later shelling...
