The park is in need of some definite remodeling and sprucing up. Bathrooms are outdated and in need of renovations. Poor food selection throughout the park. Lacks diversity of menu options and items offered are pricey for what you receive. We love Carowinds and try to go at least once a year. They have so many fun rides and if you can go before school lets out or during the week, you can ride a ton more rides without waiting in lines. More

They have some really awesome rides, however, for admission - to save some money find a coupon!! Also, I HIGHLY recommend buying the fast pass - while it is around $45 additional, you skip the lines for all the cool rides. This made Carowinds an excellent experience. More

This is the second year we have season passes. Its the best way to get 'access' to the park... if you are planning to go multiple times during the year... and who doesn't?!? The park has a lot to offer, making it a must destination if you are local. Get there early! Parking with the season pass is free. More
