This is the nicest man-made whitewater course I've been to (East Race in Indiana and the Ocoee being the others). The whitewater section is short, but fun and not having to carry your boat back to the top is awesome. The other facilities are also very nice-rock climbing, zip lines. I recently visited the US National Whitewater Center for the music and sports festival Tuck Fest and was awed by the number of things to do and see. There are two whitewater courses, but also flat water, zip lines, climbing walls, ropes courses and mountain bike trails. The food and beer was great. They get to late of a start for me to take advantage of the water sports.

This place is pretty cool, bike trails white water and kayaking, zip-lines. Bring money its not free not even parking.

This is a must do when in Charlotte. WW rafting, zip lines, bike trail, all great!! Get there early. The raft guides are great
