Stopped by the Blackbeard exhibit for something quick and cheap to do while on the island, it was informative, but nothing too exciting. Kids would definitely enjoy the gift shop.

We stopped here as it was a very rainy day during our visit to the island. The price seemed fair to us. The museum was good but best enjoyed by kids who like to read, there is a lot for them to read here. The artifacts are good but few. the shop in front, where most of the people spend... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from this exhibit when I entered. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. There were many informative descriptions to read and interesting displays to view. I would recommend it to all "pirates" who visit Ocracoke. It can be enjoyed by all ages!!

Its a Blackbeard exhibit, what's not to love. This is one of our favorite spots in Ocracoke. Start by sticking your head in Blackbeards "face" and take your picture. Inside are exhibits and souvenirs. On the small island of Ocracoke, this is a spot you do not want to miss. Reasonably priced trinkets inside.

It was very small but the exhibits were interesting and informative. We enjoyed reading about Blackbeard. It has a small gift shop too.

Small exhibit but very informative about the pirates. It has lots of plaques to read and drawings of Blackbeard. Inside the glass cases they have artifacts of medical items from the period and another of glass viles for medicines. There is an 8 1/2 minute video to watch with a small bench in front of the sceen. They also have... More

This is a very nice little exhibit and a nice break. Best for ages which can read (mainly exhibits to read), though a few hands on items. Gift shop is awesome for kids to spend their money --- they had plenty of small, inexpensive items (as low as $0.25) so it was perfect for my kids to spend their small... More

This was a fun quick stop. I would have rated it higher, if they would charge $2 for the museum, but at $5 the museum is too short. I wouldn't call it a tourist trap, but it is close.

I laughed at people's reviews of this place, I mean the ones in which they were outraged and overly critical of the museum. In an age when you pay a minimum of $10 to do anything, the $4 entry fee should clue us in that this is not going to be a great scholarly or technology filled adventure. It is... More
