What a grand place for families to enjoy time with their childen! Fantasic the way they have it set up with playgrounds thru out the park each one built for certain ages!!! Wish there were playgrounds like this when I was growing up! Paddle boats on a beautiful duck pond a train gardens beauty everywhere. One downside I say this... More

It's free to go, but if you want to ride the train or carousel, there is a small fee for that. The playground is awesome for kids and it's just a nice place. Could be a little crowded, but good place to take the kids and burn off some energy on the weekend.

It's a fun place to visit with your young kids. There are carousels, boats for rent, etc, to take advantage of.

.....so we decided to visit Pullen Park before checking in to our B&B in Raleigh for our weekend getaway. Pullen Park was only 5 minutes from or B&B, so we decided to stop in and just check it out. Boy, did we love it! We did feel a little out of place because we didn't have any kids with us... More

This is a fun place to take the kids for a few hours. My son really loves it because it has a large playground, boats, a train, and a carousel. In the summer it can be unbearably hot. There are a few shady covered places to sit, but it's a "sweatfest " after a while. Waiting in line to buy... More

Now that they have restored Pullen to its former grandeur, it's hard to find a parking place most weekends. The old carousel and train ride are personal favorites for any age. I'm glad to see that the city of Raleigh didn't let this fall into disrepair.

This is a great family park, with an old fashioned carousel, a train, and paddle boats. But even the more mature among us enjoy strolling through a park like this on a warm day. Happy times.

Great park for kids. They loved the train and carosel, and they could scooter around the lake. Don't forget the sand pit, swings, and boats. It's very affordable and all in one great location

This is the neatest park I've ever been to! We got to ride a little train all around the park for only $1 per person, and they had several playground areas, paddle boats, lots of walking areas, grassy knolls, picnic tables, and even a large indoor carousel! This was so fun, we went back several times during our stay in... More

Great place to take the kids and grandkids...our granddaughter did not want to leave! She loved the train and playing in the sand among other things. I want to go back and paddle boat.
