How can you not love this place? It's one of the better zoos I've ever seen, and they really go to great lengths to make the habitats as authentic to the animals as they can. Knowledgable staff, beautiful layout, lots of fun. :-) I highly recommend the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. :-)

Giraffes, monkey island, water conservation. We brought a picnic lunch and took the free tram to the top of the hill. Kids played in the playground and then we walked down to the petting zoo and kids railroad. Walked by the huge elephant area. Next time will visit the domed area and see what mysteries it holds. My membership with another zoo gets me in for half price, but even at full price, this zoo is well worth it. When my children were younger the zoo pass for the season was a great value. There is so much to see from the rainforest exhibit to the Australia outback. They offer great interactive events for children. A must see!

This has always been a nice zoo. They had recently redone the elephant exhibit and it looks great! The park is clean, well kept, healthy animals and a great environment.

Wrap up a lunch and go! We took our nieces to the zoo and had so much fun. The elephant exhibit and guides were brilliant. We also are partial to the butterfly house. However, you can see about anything at this zoo.

I love this zoo. The rainforest and zoo are amazing. Great habitats and they are always expanding. The rainforest is out front of the zoo, so you can just go to that (especially when the weather is crummy, which is like half the year in Cleveland).

I loved the Elephants for no other reason than: COOL. They had a great zoo and a great variety of animals. I was just disappointed that the exhibits were so far apart. Whatever you do don't feed the giraffes. It's 2 dollars for one leaf of lettuce and giraffes eat it in two split second bites. That's like a dollar... More
