After several people told me about this area of town, I finally managed to get there. On a Monday. Half the places were closed so we had a limited selection for food. We tossed a coin and ate a pretty good plated of Spaghetti. Then I went down the street to the bakery. Bought a box full of my favorites... More

It's not Italy, it's Ohio; but its really nice. This is my favorite place in Cleveland. I've been coming here since the 1970's. a reviewer reported its not a good place for black people. That has not been my experience. There are all kinds of food choices, from bakeries to ice cream to pizza to pasta. Traffic is horrific and... More

Not a bad part of Cleveland, but small. Not too many choices in bakeries. We went to the bigger one called Presti's. It was very crowded and the service was about 2 stars, while the baked goods were simply good, although nothing spectacular. The little art gallery had some unique pieces but way overpriced. I felt pressured by an owner... More

No less than a half-dozen GOOD Italian restaurants. Known for the historic "Feast of the Assumption" which spans 3-4 days in the month of August every year. We are down there regularly.

We had lunch at Mama's Santa for pizza and homemade noodle with meatballs. The value for the money was good. We also stopped in a bakery for a cannoli - it was great.

Good food, good fun, great canoli. There are street fairs, etc. in the summer. Those can get crowded, but that's half the fun!

Great restaurants including Presti's for dessert and coffee Also, bring a loaf of fresh bread home. They even have some main courses too. The lasagne is good. Just hang out there after your dinner.

One of the most interesting ethnic areas in Cleveland, with many Italian shops and homes but also some great little art galleries and studios among them.

This was for me, the most enjoyable part of our visit to the Cleveland area. Little Italy stops are something I do whenever I'm in an area that has one. The food, the bakeries here are some of the best of any little Italy I've visited. If not for the fact we walked here from our hotel, and the fact... More
