Had a great lunch in here, 6 oysters followed by half a lobster. The beer was different but hit the spot. Great service and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.
This bar is all about location and beer. Beyond that you pays your money and you takes your chance because the staff know they are on a winner so if you want to be fawned over - don't come here!
We walked along an odd siding to find this pub. Just been re-firb'd. Food served from Wed to Sunday. Pizza's looked and smelled great, lobster was fresh, pint of prawns good value. Location was odd but forgiving.....views out to sea were great. Staff friendly. Will pop along again.
Thanks for coming look out for new holiday opening times if you want to come back for food james More
I like this bar a lot, as it is quieter this side of the harbour, the kids can paddle and skim stones whilst adults can relax on deck chairs watching them. Further along, there is a row of beach huts, backed by a view of the castle. With young children, it is better to stay on the main beach, away... More
glad you like the new bar remember if the lobster shack is closed for a private function the brewery bar does fresh pizza, fruit de mer and shellfish james More
We were looking forward to visiting the newly refurbished bar after friends gave it a rave review. We visited on a Saturday night at 8.30pm to be told we couldn't order food, again on a Wednesday at 5.30pm (advertised opening time is 4pm) and it was all boarded and locked up. (It is by itself on the beach so you... More

You'll think you're in a different bar if you went a) on a Sunday afternoon and then b) on a Saturday night. By day, it's an airy converted fishing warehouse with wooden floors, casks of beer on display, and sea views across the estuary. You might want to relax with your beer or cider on the beach to the sound... More
hi you will be glad to know the brewery bar as a nightclub has closed and it now a family (and dog!) friendly place to have a local beer with a fresh cooked pizza and shellfish and watch the sun go down james More
We went here quite early and paid £5 to get in and was pretty much dissapointed from the start the wooden floor was sticky and there were only a few places to sit thankfully we were early so got a seat but the music was awful it's not that we're too old for it believe me we can rave with... More
Balmy breezy afternoon I stopped at the "Whitstable Brewery Bar, East Quay, Whitstable Harbour" for a refreshing drink. Lovely I thought................two had local cider from the barrel........ However a little disappointed, the cider was warm although the young girl serving welcomed with a smile and though stiflingly warm in the bar, she managed to be polite and friendly. On the... More
