I love animals, so I decided to stop at the "African Safari" the other day while in the Port Clinton Area. I had read the web site and was a bit skeptical, but I figured since I was so close I'd give it a try. I had no coupon, so I got slammed for the full 15.95 price. That didn't... More

There are always specials to get into this park for less. Check out the internet. Last year (2012) we bought a family season pass for $40.00 If you have a zoo membership elsewhere you can also get a break on the price. They don't have a huge variety of animals but it is a fun to feed the animals up... More

This place is not worth driving 3 hours for, which I did. Big disappointment. Few animals in pens before you go behind the gates. You pay admission to enter gates, charges for food are $8, $16 and up for carrots and dry pellets. For $8 you get a small bag of carrots and a cup of dry food. You are... More

Better off to go to the Toledo Zoo! Zoo is nearby and your car wont get scratched. Animals don't beg for food at the zoo- and you can learn something!

My grandson and I often visit the northern portion of our state (Ohio) and the many points of interest lining the shore of Lake Erie from Toledo to Cleveland. One of these is the African Safari Wildlife Park in Port Clinton. The park is technically a small zoo with buildings and cages that were constructed several decades ago, nothing fancy.... More

We took our 22 month old granddaughter, who loves animals, here & had so much fun watching her smile...her reactions when the animals came to the car, and how interested she was watching the animals 'play around'. She enjoyed feeding a couple of them carrots & was shocked when they popped their heads into the windows. It was a little... More

We took our 4 year old here after buying tickets on Groupon. There were less animals since it is currently not the tourist season, but it was nice because there were hardly any other cars there! Yes, the food to feed is expensive, but the animals seemed pretty happy, and the staff was courteous. We will go back this summer!

Only a minimum number of animals to feed. Several looked in poor conidition. Was disappointed since I have visited other African Safari's in other states and compared to them, this one could use a lot of improvement.

This was an amazing venture. The whole family loved it. They actually stuck their head in the car. Less the horns of course.

This place was amazing. I had a groupon and it was $6 per person! It is their off season. You drive your car through an animal park and you can buy food and FEED them. It was LOL funny as LLamas, bison, deer, etc put their heads in our window. This is one place you MUST go to if you... More
