Beautiful campsites in a fir forest. Second largest campground in Oregon with 120 electrical sites and 185 tent sites. Hikes through forest and dunes to the ocean.

This park has been a favorite of mine for over 60 years. I camped here as a child and swam in the lakes, climbed the dunes and played on the beach. I brought my children here and now my grandchildren.

Always look forward to coming HERE!! As you drive along the Coast with sandy beaches then cliffs then Sand Dunes,...where does all this sand come? Who cares go rent an ATV & put a permanent smile on your face. This Sate Park is beautiful & well laid out. Enjoy your stay.

Great state park on the central coast. But you need reservations for prime times and sites. Beach access is so-so if you have trouble with walking on loose sand but over all it's a nice place to stay and they have Yurts for those that want a less traditional tenting experience or that don't have lots of camping equipment.

This is an outstanding example of how a state can keep and maintain a full service campground. It's right on the edge of the Oregon dunes too, so there is a lot to do.

A great place for family camping, and with the yurts, it's even all-season. Honeyman is situated by a sand lake and has access to the Great National Dunes for sandboarding, ATV-ing or just rolling down the sides of the dune. The lake has a gift shop, eatery and dressing rooms. There is a place roped off for swimming, a diving... More

I have loved this park since childhood. Always a pleasure to be among the trees yet close to town and the road. Beautiful day park areas and always kept clean and nice.

Honeyman State Park is a wonderful park. It is pleasant in the fall and beautiful year round. The ranger's office is right off the highway to get a good deal on park permits.
