Dirty and gross! We were so disappointed to see the condition of this place! Don't waste the gas and try Stewart Hot Springs just north of Shasta City in Calif.
The assortment of characters one encounters in the springs, on the way up, on the way down and in the parking lot are worth the trip in and of itself. A beautiful place.
My buddy and I went to the hot springs on a cold, overcast Monday morning hoping it would be less crowded. While we were there only three couples came to soak and one odd guy who was sitting in his steamed up car in the parking lot came up to wander around and talk to people while they were soaking....
