Dirty and gross! We were so disappointed to see the condition of this place! Don't waste the gas and try Stewart Hot Springs just north of Shasta City in Calif.

The assortment of characters one encounters in the springs, on the way up, on the way down and in the parking lot are worth the trip in and of itself. A beautiful place.

My buddy and I went to the hot springs on a cold, overcast Monday morning hoping it would be less crowded. While we were there only three couples came to soak and one odd guy who was sitting in his steamed up car in the parking lot came up to wander around and talk to people while they were soaking.... Crowded in Summer... try sunrise... expect lots of nudity and perhaps smoking in the area... 1/4 mile + walk to springs, gravel parking lot, no real restrooms, gravel road to get there, dusty in summer

This area is densely forested with mossy rocks and dripping water, lending itself to peace of mind and relaxation of body! Bring some fine micro brews and some camping equipment to spend a few days, (camping... More

I think the hot springs are fun and nice on a cold day especially in the snow (from past experience) but you need to be careful with children or even yourself because you are allowed to bathe nude...but anyone would know that if they read the bulletin right next to the bathroom that clearly states they allow nude bathers ...I... We were driving from southern California to Seattle and decided to make a stop in Umpqua National Forest. One of the reasons we chose this beautiful place was to experience the hot springs. My friend and I had never visited a hot springs location before. We arrived in the area around 11pm and it was so late. We almost decided... More
