It's a very wooded area with a wetland in the middle. Very nice bark path around the park making it a fabulous place for a run.

If you are looking for a nice place to walk, run, bike, or spend time watching birds, this is a good pick. I run with a group of folks and this is one of the locations that we pick from time to time. There is a nice three mile loop around the lake (complete with some rolling hills) for the...

Lovely nature park in my hometown. Plenty of walking trails and plenty of wildlife. No matter when I am there, the park is always busy with walkers, joggers and bikes.
Took a walk with my adult daughter on a crisp Fall day in October with our dog. It was a bit cloudy and cool, but the smell of pine needles as we walked along the path provided us with a true Fall experience. It's a wonderful place to connect with nature and get some exercise!
This area still has lots of birds flitting about in the treetops. It is very picturesque and the closeness of Linglestown shoppes makes for a nice visit.
This place is a gem in the middle of a busy city! My husband and kids and I love going there to walk the nature paths, check out the wildlife and relax in nature. It is amazing that all that beauty is in the middle of the city. Go there and make sure you have walking shoes on and give...

I ran the trail which was challenging and enjoying the wildlife along the route made it more enjoyable.
I was only here once and I would like to go back. I enjoyed the walk, the trail was nicely kept. I wouldn't however feel comfortable walking this trail alone.
Wildwood Park is made up of a small nature center with no live animals, bird viewing area and kids craft area. Most of the park is made up of walking trails. There is not much there to look at.
I love their supporting the wading birds and other fowl so abundant in the marsh so I donate generously. Hiked their 5k trail but next time I will ironically bring an iPod to mask the highway noise. If Harrisburg wasn't broke, I'd lobby for noise barriers darnnit. Good for kids, or the solo power walker too. Enjoy the Great Egrets!
