The Playhouse is very clean and has a thrust stage for the shows it runs. If you have a chance to see a play here you should buy your tickets early to ensure good seats. I am confused by a review on Trip Advisor that complains about food. It has no restaurant only small snacks during intermission.

The actors and directors involved in shows here are generally very good, and a number of them have professional experience in theatre and music. The costumes and sets are also nicely done. Spending an afternoon or evening here at a show is a great break from the usual of everyday life.

I made reservations to eat there with my child so she can see the Hershey characters. However, once we got there they told us the characters aren't there all year around. But the website said they were there. The manager was very rude to us, so we left!

they do a variety of shows throughout the year, and most are sold out. terrific new building. shows are always fun for the family.
