Recently took a preschool class here on a field trip. There is something fun for every age group in the LSF. Each "station" focuses on a specific science concept in a novel and fun way. You will want to try each self-guided demonstration again and again. This is my second time there, and I look forward to taking many more... More

The kids loved it. Lots of different exhibits. Loved how open and bright it is. Get there early before it gets crowded.

We took our grandchildren from age 2 to age 8. They all loved it. There were many volunteers to explain. The museum was completely hands-on with activities for all. The cildren did not want to leave after 3 hours.

We took four kids - 2 boys, aged 12 and 2 girls, aged 10. All four kids LOVED the LSF and didn't want to leave! There were lots of hands-on activities and things to challenge them. Lots of variety. A definite plus is the set up of the LSF. All activities are in one large room, so you can see... More

Great time there with the grandkids- good physics lessons, everywhere- presented in an interesting way, so they don't realize how much they are learning.

First of all entry fee is cheap, compared to other places like this. At first it seems small being that everything is in one floor.. but there are soooo many interesting things to do. Balls that fly up in the air, magenets, hovercraft, sand drawings, balls that fly through the tubes, paper airplane.. it was chock full of hands on... More

The space isn't as large as other science museums, but every activity is a winner for children and adults alike! It has a wide variety of hands on activities.

Friendly staff, great interactive exhibits and lovely open space defines this museum. Although small it will keep the whole family busy for hours.

If you have experienced really good big city science museums, a perspective adjustment is needed. First, it's much smaller. Second, it's very affordable. Third, simpler has its own appeal in demonstrating fundamental science. Fourth, enjoy the small city hospitality. Easy parking is across the street. Depending on how crowded it is and the age of your children, allow 1-2 hours... More
