a surfer asked to borrow my binoculars to see if he could spot the shark that was in the area. there were 3 more surfers in the area. he didn't find the shark. passing tankers and a multitude of sail boats provided much to look at.

They have benches on the grounds facing the ocean, the lighthouse horn it's so loud it can make you go deaf if you are near the horn and it can make a good day trip to see the lighthouse & the ocean.

The view is beautiful. I like to sit on the benches and bring dinner or dessert. I love seeing the couples come up there and just enjoy the time together. Nice place to sit and reflect. I go here every year and I seen dolphins once while looking out.

The Lighthouse at Point Judith is located on a nice point of land surrounded by large rocks and crashing waves. Benches to sit on in the park. Beautiful stop to rest and enjoy the view.

Got in my rocks to trek over, plenty of photographic opportunities - nice grounds. A must if you're in the area and like lighthouses.

This spot is a favorite of the locals. You can drive here and just sit and look at the sea (great for sunrises and sunsets), watch the surfers (often you'll see quite a few), or just relax and listen to the pounding of the surf. It's rarely crowded, especially outside the summer months. A great place to escape!

The light house is a special place, nestled securely on the grounds of the US Coast Guard. There is a park beside it dedicated to the memory of a local woman. The owners of the park have had to erect a sign asking the public to respect the quiet nature of the park, or else they will close the park... More

Cool looking lighthouse however it is a coastguard base with locked gates and big fences. At least in the winter - not open for people to take a gander.

There's nothing like grabbing some chowder and clamcakes at Izzy's to sit down and enjoy the views (and sunset) at the lighthouse.
