Definitely check their calendar to see what's going on during your trip. I saw a wonderful Sunday afternoon music performance. Great art on display too. It's a great way to get an insider's look at the Beaufort arts scene.

Many visitors in Beaufort come for Beaufort's tremendous arts scene, which compelled several national publications to name the community a top "arts" town. However, one of the undiscovered resources in Beaufort is ARTWorks, a wonderful, collaborative space for local artists to work and perform.
