Driving over to Mt. Pleasant was a pleasant surprise. Also, if you take the harbor cruise you go right under the massive bridge and learn more of its history.

While on your travel around Charleston, make a point to travel over this unique bridge. Easy access and alot of lanes and not out of your way.

My wife and I walked it as the sun was setting and found it to a great way to watch the sunset. Take some water or other beverage with you! Nice exercise, incline was not bad at all. You can summit and return in about an hour. Good fun...

We made a point to drive over this bridge before leaving Charleston and it was worth it. Very cool architecture. If you are a runner, I would definitely recommend a jog over this bridge and back. Saw many others doing this.

So much better than the old bridge which was scary as heck to cross. Beautiful design, feels so much safer than it used to be.

Beautiful photography can be taken. Makes a great backdrop so folks will know just where you have been. Make sure to visit the Sweetgrass Pavillion and purchase a t-shirt. The baskets are beautiful!
